Position: Learning Mentor
- Location: Sheffield
- Salary: £95 - £105 per day
- Contract: Full Time hours - term time only
GSL Education is seeking a dedicated Learning Mentor to support students in a primary school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a positive role model, fostering trust and rapport with students.
- Provide guidance on both educational and personal matters.
- Assist students in establishing and reaching their academic and personal objectives.
Duties Include:
- Deliver individualized and small group mentoring sessions.
- Aid students facing academic, social, and emotional challenges.
- Create and execute tailored learning strategies.
- Build strong relationships with students, families, and educational staff.
- Encourage a supportive and inclusive school environment.
- Track and evaluate student progress regularly.
- Collaborate with educators and support personnel to meet student needs.
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience working with children or adolescents.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated empathy, patience, and a sincere desire to assist others.
- Capability to work effectively within a team.
- Relevant educational qualifications or experience in a related field (preferred).
