Aftermarket Project Engineer

We are on the lookout for a Project Engineer with a robust background in heavy engineering, capable of supporting clients with aftermarket services or components. This position entails engaging with clients to address machinery inquiries, verifying machinery against archived records, and pinpointing necessary components to deliver effective solutions. The identification of new parts may be required based on the machinery's age, necessitating a proactive approach to liaise with suppliers. Due to the role's nature and the machinery involved, we require a candidate with substantial experience in reviewing engineering schematics within the heavy engineering domain.

Key Responsibilities of the Aftermarket Project Engineer:

  • Providing engineering schematics to support aftermarket operations and client needs.
  • Utilizing Bills of Materials (BOMs) to identify current components.
  • Overseeing design draughtsmen in the department and approving engineering schematics as verified work.
  • Collaborating with suppliers to find solutions for obsolete components.
