Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our client's manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the production team, ensuring high-quality products, and driving productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive daily productivity and take overall responsibility for production planning, understanding manufacturing order intake, production labor requirements, and machine capacity.
- Monitor production output using tools like short interval control (SIC) or ANDON to develop action plans.
- Understand current production capacity and seek growth through skills training and automation opportunities.
- Lead workplace culture and quality standards, adhering to quality assurance procedures.
- Manage the team, including organizing shifts, labor availability, and training records.
- Take responsibility for employee engagement and develop a positive workplace culture.
Candidate Requirements:
- Visible manufacturing manager, shop floor based.
- Track record of understanding manufacturing capacity and planning for growth through training and equipment assessment.
- Experience working to quality procedures, preferably in an ISO accredited company.
- Ability to develop a culture of energy, professionalism, and team cohesion.
