Job Summary

The Gainsborough Bath Spa is seeking a highly skilled Duty Manager to lead our front office team in delivering exceptional guest service. As a key member of our hotel team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have a memorable and enjoyable stay.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead by example in delivering excellence in guest service, ensuring that all interactions with guests are friendly, efficient, and professional.
  • Work closely with the front office team to ensure seamless check-in and check-out processes, resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and loyalty, working closely with the hotel's management team.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of guest interactions, including feedback and complaints.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure that guest needs are met and exceeded.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a hotel front office role, with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Opera, with experience in hotel management systems.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
