Job Title: Apprentice Consultant

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Apprentice Consultant. As a key member of our foreign exchange bureau, you will play a vital role in ensuring the profitability of our business and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the profitability of our foreign exchange bureau
  • Achieve given foreign exchange targets, including set KPIs
  • Convert Hays Travel customers to purchase
  • Maximise individual and team sales of foreign exchange
  • Provide exceptional customer service at all times
  • Assist with the day-to-day operation of the bureau
  • Increase exposure of the bureau and develop new business leads
  • Use social media to promote offers, generate customer engagement, and sales leads
  • Maximise all opportunities by following foreign exchange sales structure
  • Monitor local competition and manage rates and margins effectively on a daily basis
  • Monitor stock levels of foreign currency and ensure that minimum quantities are maintained
  • Accurate cash reconciliation and banking
  • Responsible for minimising risk and mitigating errors
  • Play an active role in the day-to-day operation of the branch and supporting Travel colleagues with administrative duties
  • Responsibility for security of the bureau
  • Willingness to participate in training appropriate to own development
  • Adhering to company policies and procedures
