Job Summary:

Aquinas Education Ltd is seeking dedicated and adaptable Teaching Assistants to work in our partnership schools. As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of educational settings, gaining valuable experience and making a positive impact on students' learning journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to teachers in delivering high-quality lessons and instructional materials.
  • Assist students with their learning activities, ensuring they stay engaged and on task, and promoting a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Support students with special educational needs (SEN) and adapt learning materials as needed, utilizing your knowledge of educational resources and strategies.
  • Supervise students during break times and school activities, maintaining a safe and respectful environment.
  • Assist with administrative tasks and classroom organization, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and colleagues.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in different schools and classrooms, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
  • A genuine passion for education and helping students succeed, with a commitment to providing high-quality support and services.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
