Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Specialist Learning Support Assistant to join our team at AET London & Birmingham. As a Specialist Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily learning, care, and development of our students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized support to students with diverse learning needs, promoting their academic and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with teachers and specialists to design and implement engaging learning experiences that cater to students' unique needs and interests.
  • Contribute to a safe and nurturing environment, fostering a sense of community and belonging among students.
  • Work closely with the teaching team to develop and implement strategies to support students' social, emotional, and mental health needs.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in supporting students with diverse learning needs.

Requirements

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in supporting students with diverse learning needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the needs of students and the school.
