Role Overview:

Our Graduate GROW Programme is a structured 3-year development programme designed to help you evolve and develop skills to become an experienced professional in your chosen field. You'll benefit from training and development, mentoring, and support for relevant accreditations, as well as guidance to develop and succeed.

As a specialist and science graduate joining GROW, you'll specialise from day one in your chosen discipline. You'll work in teams of consultants, responsible for your own deliverables, liaising with clients, and given opportunities to build your skillsets and technical expertise. You'll work on a range of environmental and planning projects, including major infrastructure, urban regeneration, and community-focused initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Geo-Environmental - As part of our multi-award-winning Site Evaluation and Restoration team, you'll undertake site-based ground investigations to determine the nature and quality of ground conditions. This data will inform design decisions or determine the need for environmental restoration, which will be designed, implemented, and validated to bring the site back into suitable use and protect the environment.

You'll work as part of project teams, undertaking site work, including soil and groundwater sampling, site supervision, desk-based research, and report writing. You'll also contribute to the development of environmental restoration strategies and solutions.

Requirements:

  • You'll be graduating in or have recently graduated with at least a 2:2 in a relevant master's or bachelor's degree.
  • You'll demonstrate typical Arcadian skills, including resilience, creativity, analytical thinking, and being a team player.
  • You'll have excellent communication skills and the ability to use your technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders.
  • You'll be willing to travel and stay away from home when required (we embrace virtual working where possible).
  • You'll hold a full driving licence that allows you to drive in the UK.
  • You'll be comfortable with site-based working when required for projects.
