Senior Digital IC Design Lead

This is an exciting opportunity for a Digital Design Manager to join a growing Semiconductor company developing communications technology that is helping to pave the way for AI scaling.
This role will be based out of our client's Berkshire office, however hybrid working is also an option. The Digital Design Manager will lead a team of 10-15 digital IC design engineers and be responsible for hiring, mentoring and driving engineering execution for the digital group. The Digital Design Manager will work closely with the analog IC design, backend design and verification teams to identify and develop solutions for design flow improvement, and be the technical authority during sign-off.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of digital IC design engineers in the development of cutting-edge communications technology.
- Develop and implement design flow improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address technical challenges.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Drive engineering execution and ensure timely delivery of projects.
Requirements:
- At least a decade of experience working within Digital IC / ASIC Design.
- A strong understanding of the complete IC design flow, from RTL coding through to physical design.
- Hands-on expertise with Verilog / SystemVerilog.
- A good understanding of high speed / low power designs.
- Proven experience working within a technical leadership role.
