About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sonographer to join our dynamic team at Barts Health NHS Trust. As a Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including General Abdominal, Gynecological, Small Parts, Head and Neck, Musculoskeletal, Vascular, Neonatal Head, and Neonatal Hip ultrasound examinations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound examinations to diagnose and monitor various medical conditions
  • Develop and maintain a high level of technical expertise in ultrasound imaging
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in continuing professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest ultrasound techniques and technologies
Requirements
  • Post Graduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound
  • Current and up-to-date state registration through a regulatory body (HCPC NMC or GMC) or RCT
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current and emerging ultrasound techniques and relevant topics/professional issues
  • Able to demonstrate the ability to carry out and report on a full range of ultrasound examinations in Gynaecology, General Abdominal, and Small Parts
