Job Overview:
Rock Managed Services is on the lookout for a dedicated and experienced Service and Repair Gas Engineer to enhance our team. This position involves delivering exceptional service to our clients within your local vicinity. If you excel in a hands-on role and possess strong problem-solving skills, this opportunity is tailored for you.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Performing maintenance and repair tasks on various heating systems in residential properties.
2. Employing advanced diagnostic tools to effectively identify and resolve issues.
3. Promoting and installing supplementary products as necessary to improve customer satisfaction.
4. Organizing your daily schedule to efficiently manage 6-8 service calls in your designated area.
5. Delivering outstanding customer service while upholding a professional demeanor in all interactions.
Induction and Training:
Induction:
8 days of comprehensive training sessions.
First Day:
Arrange your own transportation; travel expenses will be reimbursed (retain receipts).
Support and Monitoring (S&M):
Continuous support and oversight for the initial 2-3 weeks to ensure you are comfortable and adept in your role as a Gas Engineer.
Perks and Benefits:
Base Salary:
£43,733 per annum.
Location Allowance (LWA):
Up to £6,000, based on area.
Bonus Scheme:
Unlimited earning potential through our quarterly bonus structure. Average earnings are approximately £54,000, with higher potential for those who excel in upselling and additional product installations.
Work Schedule:
40-hour work week, distributed over 5 days. Shifts may commence as early as 7am and conclude as late as 8pm, with weekends considered essential working hours. Shift patterns are provided 6 weeks in advance, allowing for input on preferences.
Overtime (OT):
Compensated at time and a half.
Annual Leave:
33 days, inclusive of bank holidays.
