Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join our team at the Octagon Group in Wiltshire. As a Senior Electronics Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and development of electro-mechanical products and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electronic circuits, prototypes, and PCBs, and test them for production readiness.
  • Lead the design of complex electronic products, including analogue, power supply, digital, FPGA, and high-speed electronics.
  • Participate in peer reviews of design and architecture to ensure high-quality and innovative solutions.
  • Liaise with other disciplines within R&D and external suppliers to ensure seamless collaboration and delivery.

Requirements:

  • A strong background in electronics design and the full development lifecycle, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
  • Experience in both analogue and digital electronics design, with a focus on commercial environments.
  • Knowledge of RF technologies, including Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, is highly desirable.
