Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst / Consultant

About the Role:

We are seeking a professional asbestos consultant to join our expanding Yorkshire office. As an asbestos surveyor and analyst, you will be responsible for undertaking high-end and technical surveying and analytical duties to a varied client base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering the full range of asbestos surveys in accordance with HSE guidelines to a mixed portfolio of clients across the Yorkshire region.
  • Identifying and sampling suspected ACMs.
  • Using handheld tablet and associated software to record accurate site findings.
  • Producing detailed survey reports and following up with clients to provide technical consultancy services / advice.
  • Carrying out reinspection audits of survey reports.
  • Building and maintaining client relationships.

Requirements:

  • BOHS P402 (Minimum)
  • BOHS P403/4 (Desirable)
  • Expert knowledge of HSG: 264 and 248 guidelines.
  • Experience working as an asbestos surveyor and / or analyst, ideally within a consultancy setting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication experience.

Additional Responsibilities (if P403/4 is held):

  • Air Monitoring and airborne fibre counting.
  • Ensuring all works are carried out in line with HSG: 248.
  • Undertaking 4 stage clearances.
  • Supervising removal works and signing off satisfactory removal works.
