The Role - People Operations Partner
This position encompasses a UK-wide scope and is pivotal in fostering relationships across the organization. You will collaborate with Managers in various departments on matters related to Employee Relations, Attendance Management, Employee Wellbeing, Capability Development, and Engagement Strategies. Additionally, you will provide support and guidance to the People Operations Administrators in maintaining accurate employee HR records and ensuring compliance.


Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Delivering proactive HR support and guidance, offering appropriate advice and direction as necessary.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor, building essential relationships throughout the organization, and working closely with Line Managers and Team Leaders to ensure effective delivery of advice that aligns with company policies.
  • Consulting with Line Managers and Team Leaders on absence management procedures.
  • Promoting the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion initiatives within the organization and recommending improvements.
  • Providing guidance on employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions, grievances, and performance management, while advising and coaching Managers as needed.
  • Collaborating with Recruitment and Learning and Development Teams to address knowledge gaps and enhance employee skills.
  • Maintaining up-to-date records within the core HR system and ensuring data accessibility.
  • Ensuring respectful treatment of all employees and fostering behaviors that promote high levels of employee engagement.
  • Identifying opportunities for process efficiencies related to time and attendance and absence management.
  • Performing administrative tasks as required.
  • Generating, analyzing, and reporting on people data insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Participating in HR team projects, including system operations reviews, case management improvements, and training initiatives.
  • Contributing to the overall Employee Value Proposition and promoting company values to attract, develop, and retain talent.

  • Experience in a Business Partner role or similar capacity.
  • Proven track record of collaborative efforts to implement innovative working methods.
  • Ability to work effectively with key stakeholders to enhance efficiencies and resolve issues.
  • Experience in utilizing business management information to identify improvement areas and manage resources effectively.
  • Strong understanding of HR and Employment law, including current legislation and best practices.
  • Capability to manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organized and detail-oriented.
  • Comfortable working with both quantitative and qualitative data, such as turnover, pay, attendance, engagement, and exit data, with the ability to interpret, analyze, and present findings to stakeholders.
  • CIPD qualification (level 5 minimum) is preferred.
  • Experience with HRIS/HRMS/Excel is advantageous.
