Nurse Practitioner Opportunities

At East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust, we are seeking highly skilled and dedicated nurses to join our team in the treatment room service. As a General Nursing Career Opportunities candidate, you will be responsible for providing high levels of skilled nursing and patient care within our treatment room setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Skilled Nursing Care: Provide skilled nursing care of a set standard in the treatment room setting, ensuring the highest level of patient care and comfort.
- Confidentiality: Ensure confidentiality at all times, maintaining patient trust and respect.
- Clinical Skills: Perform a high level of clinical skills, including wound care and leg ulcer management, to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Collaboration: Liaise with nursing and non-nursing colleagues to create good working relationships, promoting a positive and supportive team environment.
- Health Promotion: Be involved in health promotion and the prevention of ill health, educating patients on healthy practices and lifestyle choices.
- Specialist Liaison: Liaise directly with specialist Lower Leg Nurse/Tissue Viability regarding problem cases, ensuring seamless patient care.
- Documentation: Document and maintain records professionally and accurately, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines for self and others, promoting a culture of excellence.
- Equality and Diversity: Promote people's equality, diversity, and rights, creating an inclusive and respectful work environment.
- Patient Complaints: Provide responses to patient complaints, addressing concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Quality Improvement: Continually monitor standards of care and assist in the improvement of care, participating in benchmarking, audit, and research to drive excellence.
- Data Collection: Comply with policy and procedure in data collection and reporting, ensuring accurate and reliable information.
