- Week 1: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
- Week 2: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Compensation: £12.30 - £13.81 per hour
Contract Type: Ongoing with potential for permanent placement
Job Overview: We are looking for a dependable and skilled Reach Truck Driver to assist in our warehouse operations. This position requires a considerable amount of physical activity, including manual handling and heavy lifting, thus a high level of physical fitness is crucial. The ideal candidate will be adaptable to a rotational shift schedule, ensuring they can meet the varying demands of the role.
Key Duties:
- Reach Truck Operation: Efficiently and safely operate reach trucks to maneuver, stack, and retrieve inventory within the warehouse.
- Manual Handling: Perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks, including loading and unloading products by hand.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Follow all health and safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment for all personnel.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with fellow warehouse staff to ensure smooth and effective warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience as a Reach Truck Driver with a valid reach truck certification.
- Physical Capability: Must be able to regularly engage in heavy lifting and manual tasks.
- Shift Availability: Must be willing to work a rotational shift schedule, including early mornings and late afternoons.
- Attention to Detail: Must possess strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Work Ethic: Must be reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
