Position Summary

We are seeking a committed Specialist Trainer to enhance our training team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for delivering essential and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) training programs to healthcare practitioners. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining high standards in healthcare training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive training sessions on critical topics such as Safety Intervention Training, Ligature Training, and Basic Life Support.
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in multidisciplinary clinical skills training.
  • Utilize various training methodologies to empower and develop trainees, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and guidelines.
  • Travel across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland for on-site training sessions as required.

Essential Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with 'Practical Safety Intervention' (SIT/MAPA).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Demonstrated ability in training delivery and skills analysis.
  • Willingness to travel for training purposes.

Desirable Qualifications

  • In-depth understanding of the training cycle, with experience in assessing competency needs and developing tailored training programs.
  • Proven ability to engage and motivate learners through effective adult education techniques and presentation skills.
