Audit Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Assistant Manager to join our team at Public Practice Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of clients, supporting SMEs across a wide range of sectors.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality audit files, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare statutory accounts and simple corporation tax computations.
- Oversee workflow and delegate audit engagements to junior team members.
- Support the development of junior team members through constructive mentorship and training.
- Identify and implement processes to improve the efficiency of the audit function.
- Act as a trusted advisor for clients, providing expert guidance on audit matters and communicating complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.

As an Audit Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for leading a small team and supporting the strategic direction of the audit function.
Requirements:- ACA or ACCA qualified with demonstrable experience in practice.
- Working knowledge of corporate taxes and audit regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Commercial mindset and ability to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Competitive salary range of £45,000 to £55,000 per annum.
