About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Actuarial Analyst to support our Business Operational Support function.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to play a key part in supporting complex manual calculations and policy queries from our customer-facing teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Completing complex manual calculations to support business enquiries.
  • Providing responses to complex policy enquiries to support other business areas.
  • Updating and testing regular changes to systems, including bonus updates, policy fee updates, and premium rate changes.
  • Using and interrogating complex spreadsheets to enable complex non-standard queries to be answered.
  • Supporting mainframe migrations and changes, particularly specifying calculations to be migrated to new systems.
Requirements
  • Working towards the Associate of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
  • Experience working in an Actuarial Team supporting customer-facing functions.
  • Experience supporting a migration programme.
  • From a life insurance or outsourcing background, with in-depth knowledge of life assurance and pension product types and charges.
  • Adept at specifying and testing life and pensions calculations.
