Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Breast Care team at London Bridge Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide holistic and evidence-based care to patients with breast cancer, working closely with consultants, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert clinical care to patients with breast cancer, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and goals
  • Collaborate with consultants, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and develop treatment plans
  • Conduct educational sessions for patients, families, and healthcare staff on breast cancer care and management
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols for breast cancer care

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with a post-basic qualification in oncology or breast cancer care
  • Experience in providing care to patients with breast cancer
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a high level of professionalism and integrity
