Kings Camps operates sports and activity day camps for children during school holidays, focusing on our mission to engage children in physical activity, enjoyment, and collaborative learning.
Our exceptional programs are delivered by our dedicated staff, and we are currently seeking energetic and passionate Aquatic Safety Supervisors to facilitate the safe execution of our mission.

As a certified lifeguard, you will be tasked with ensuring the safe execution of engaging swimming sessions for mixed ability groups aged 5-17 years, collaborating with a qualified swimming instructor. This role can be combined with the Multi Sports Coach position for those seeking additional hours and experience in delivering diverse sports activities.

About the Role
Reporting to the Camp Manager and collaborating with a team of like-minded individuals, you will oversee swimming sessions, ensuring a maximum of 16 children participate in each session. Sessions typically last between 30-45 minutes, with scheduling varying based on pool availability.
The safety and welfare of children are our top priorities, and you will be responsible for supervising all activities, ensuring the safe use of equipment, and responding promptly to any incidents while adhering to reporting protocols.
As an Ofsted registered organization, you will have the opportunity to observe our high standards in child care and wellbeing, gain first aid qualifications, build relationships with parents and guardians, and benefit from our industry-leading training programs.
Person Specification (Ideal, but with some flexibility)
- Current Lifeguard qualification: National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers and Coaches (NRASTC), with up-to-date certification required.
- Minimum of 6 months' experience as a Lifeguard
- Able to conduct a depth test at the venue
- Passionate about enhancing children's water confidence

- Flexible and adaptable to changing situations
