Job Details

This role is an exciting opportunity to join our team at Northamptonshire Healthcare Foundation Trust as a Specialist Doctor in Older Peoples Mental Health.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for working primarily with the Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) while the consultant works with the memory service. They will have shared office space in Corby Resource Centre and access to a computer and IT links. Secretarial cover will be provided by the Consultant's secretary.

The caseload for this post is approximately 75, and a typical working week will include out-patient clinics, team meetings, liaison with other professionals, clinical administration, domiciliary visits to patient homes, care homes, and Mental Health Act work in the community.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Older Peoples Mental Health and excellent communication skills. They will be able to work effectively in a team environment and have a flexible approach to work.

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
