We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer to join our technology organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the development and solution architecture of complex applications, ensuring high-quality code, and driving technical excellence across our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and drive the technical delivery for our technology strategy, making decisions that shape how we build and standardize our digital products.
  • Provide strategic guidance on engineering best practices, governance, security, and data (APIs) from a solution to implementation perspective.
  • Lead and demonstrate the qualities you want to instill in your team of full-stack developers, providing training and development, technical guidance, code reviews, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Drive the architect, design, and development of robust and scalable web applications using ReactNative, AngularJS, and other relevant technologies.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience as a Lead Full Stack Developer, with a strong focus on web application development.
  • Solid understanding of front-end and back-end technologies, including ReactNative, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks.
  • Strong development experience in the delivery of traditional code artefacts (Java/Python/SQL, etc...) and in addition IaC artefacts (Cloud Formation/Terraform/AWS CLI).
  • Deep expertise in AWS services and architecture, including EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB, amongst others.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices for scalable and maintainable code.
  • Experience in conducting workshops or meetings to gather business requirements and facilitate productive discussions between business and technical teams.
