We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Nurse to join our team in the Recovery Independence Beds unit. As a Senior Nurse, you will be responsible for leading the nursing care provision, providing quality care to patients on a shift-to-shift basis, and ensuring safe and effective delegation of junior staff.
Main Responsibilities- Lead the nursing team, providing support to junior colleagues and assisting them in problem-solving relating to patients and staff.
- Assess the healthcare needs of patients and develop care plans reflecting their needs.
- Support and develop the nursing team, including undertaking appraisals, supervision, and training and development.
- Monitor the quality of care received by patients and assist the Nursing and Quality Lead in this process.
- Develop goals with patients and multidisciplinary team colleagues to progress patients towards discharge.
- Perform clinical skills such as complex medication administration, intravenous medications, and fluid administration, and assist junior colleagues in gaining competency in these areas.
- Develop new ways of working in the centre and establish strong links with other services and the wider community.

Requirements- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
