Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Mechanic Technician to join our team at Manpower UK. As an Assembly Mechanic Technician, you will be responsible for repairing, overhauling, and modifying various mechanical components in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and Overhaul Duties
    • Interpret technical data and service bulletins to perform repair and overhaul duties.
    • Conduct preliminary inspections, including diagnostic tests, disassembly, cleaning, and component inspection.
    • Determine the necessary materials for repair and overhaul.
    • Assemble and test units in accordance with approved technical data.
    • Perform final tests to determine eligibility for return to service.
  • Quality and Efficiency
    • Prioritize and process units to meet customer due dates.
    • Process units in accordance with the Quality Management System and Repair Station Manual.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work collaboratively as part of a team in a lean manufacturing environment.
    • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
Requirements
  • Experience
    • Previous experience in precision assembly work is desirable.
  • Education
    • A recognized engineering apprenticeship is desirable but not essential.
  • Skills
    • A flexible approach to work is required.
    • Customer focus is essential.
