About the Role

Carmichael UK is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Plant and Equipment Manager to join their team for the BEP Sellafield project in Cumbria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the mechanical support to commissioning and handover of the BEP facility in accordance with joint venture design and Sellafield site procedures.
  • Promote site HSEQS initiatives and ensure compliance with RACI Matrix.
  • Oversee day-to-day mechanical discipline, including productivity, quality, and delivery.
  • Review and coordinate risk registers, scope, and site files.
  • Manage the production of AS Built records and obtain design information from delivery teams and subcontractors.
  • Assess material samples for compliance with specifications and review subcontractor and supplier documentation.
  • Ensure project procedures and work instructions are adhered to and manage resources to meet programme and cost plans.
  • Liaise with delivery teams and construction management, and support HR and IR issues.
