Key Responsibilities

  • Cutting: Accurately measure and cut sheet metal to specified dimensions using appropriate tools and machinery.
  • Deburring: Smooth rough edges and remove burrs from metal components to prepare them for further processing.
  • Drilling: Drill precise holes in metal components according to technical drawings and specifications.
  • Assembly: Assemble sheet metal components into finished products, ensuring all parts are correctly aligned and securely fastened.
  • Quality Control: Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality, making adjustments as necessary to meet specifications.
  • Health & Safety: Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements

  • Experience in workshop manufacturing / sheet metal fabrication, including cutting, deburring, drilling, and assembly would be highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Desirable

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the manufacturing or engineering sector.
  • Familiarity with operating workshop machinery such as guillotines, drills, and grinders within a commercial environment.
