Our TVDC Distribution team has a new and exciting opportunity for a Transport Planner to join their team, to work as part of the transport planning team for Big ticket furniture deliveries, assisting with the planning of the deliveries for the department. This role is part-time, working 20 hours per week.

**About the Role**

You will be responsible for the following duties:

- Planning all furniture deliveries and collections by allocating jobs to teams, ensuring cost efficiencies
- Adhering to working time directive and tachograph rules
- Liaising with clients, internal and external to co-ordinate smooth deliveries, installations and collections
- Plan journeys with mínimal cost
- Organising specialist deliveries and installations with the Interior design team, arranging specialist equipment when required and organising site surveys.
- Alongside Customer loyalty, help deal with any new and existing queries, including any return items
- Creating and uploading the next day deliveries onto Microlise
- Keeping the delivery charges and running sheets up to date daily
- Using SAP, route and release the furniture items for the next day’s deliveries
- Liaising with the fulfilment team on any queries or issues

**About You**

You will be someone who possesses strong customer service skills, as well as excellent administration, interpersonal and communication skills. You will be a natural problem solver with good time management skills, and a strong work ethic.
