Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Night Hostel Assistant to join our Supported Housing Department, which manages two hostels for families experiencing homelessness. Our department supports over 100 families each year, working with them to help them achieve their potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a high level of customer service to residents during night shifts
  • Maintain the hostels' cleanliness and complete nightly cleaning tasks following a checklist
  • Work night shifts from 8pm to 6am, with a 4-on, 4-off schedule

Requirements
  • Competency in using different IT systems
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the hostel
  • Managing crisis and unexpected events
  • Proactive approach to health and safety issues

We are looking for someone with experience of working with people with a range of support needs, cleaning, and taking pride in their work. The ability to resolve challenging situations in a sensitive manner, experience of health and safety, and the ability to work with minimal supervision are also essential. A willingness to support Cadwyn's values is also required.
