Job Title: Lead RVN

Location: Guildford

Salary: Incredibly Competitive Salary

Hours: 1/4 weekends on site/ On call

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead RVN to manage a medium size team of RVNs and VCAs. Reporting to the Head Nurse, you will be responsible for mentoring, running training programs, conducting 1-2-1s, and leading appraisals to foster continuous professional development among your team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage and lead a team of RVNs and VCAs
  2. Oversee daily operations
  3. Provide mentorship and run training programs for the nursing team
  4. Conduct 1-2-1s and appraisals to support team development
  5. Ensure smooth clinical workflow and adherence to high standards of care
  6. Collaborate with the Head Nurse on strategic nursing initiatives
  7. Participate in a 1:4 weekend rota, both on-site and on call

About You

We are looking for a motivated and organized RVN with leadership experience, ideally within a similar setting. You should have excellent communication skills, the ability to manage and inspire a team, and a passion for high-quality patient care. Experience in anesthesia, wards, and clinical management is essential.
