MC Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Fuel Quality Manager to join a leading energy from waste business in Leicestershire.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and coordinate the site's day-to-day obligations and responsibilities in line with the fuel supply agreement.
- Conduct supplier site visits, inspections, and audits to ensure fuel quality is maintained.
- Support the O&M teams with waste acceptance, on-site inspections, data management, and ensuring waste deliveries meet a minimum standard.
- Monitor sampling and testing for compliance purposes.
- Coordinate deliveries and support the Fuel Supply Manager in all aspects of contract management.
- Prepare Environment Agency declarations with internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate inspections of supply depots to ensure duty of care obligations under the environmental permit are discharged.
- Maintain H&S standards at all times.
- Experience in a similar level role involving managing waste/fuel/feedstock quality and logistics.
- Experience of managing waste quality sampling and testing.
- Experience of dealing with multiple stakeholders and external parties at one time.
- Contract management experience.
- Understanding of the UK waste industry and relevant policies.
- Strong relationship management, interpersonal, and networking skills.
- A full UK driving licence is essential for the role due to the required travel to a second site in Cheshire.
- A competitive basic salary up to £45,000.
