As a member of the Technology Support team within our application flows sector, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the operational integrity, availability, and performance of our systems. You will promote a culture of continuous enhancement as you diagnose, maintain, identify, escalate, and resolve service disruptions, thereby ensuring a smooth user experience. Your commitment to solving business challenges through innovative practices and engineering expertise is essential. You will apply your extensive knowledge in all facets of Environment Management, including support for UAT and Non-Functional Testing, while collaborating closely with various stakeholders across both Technology and Business domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive application or infrastructure service management to facilitate effective business operations.
- Oversee the routine maintenance of the firm's systems to guarantee operational stability and accessibility.
- Assist in monitoring production, testing, and development environments for irregularities, addressing issues using standard observability tools.
- Identify issues for escalation and communication, providing solutions to both business and technology stakeholders.
- Analyze complex scenarios and trends to proactively address incident, problem, and change management in support of full-stack technology systems, applications, or infrastructure.
- Stay abreast of new technologies and best practices, applying techniques to optimize performance and availability.
- Proactively uncover hidden issues and patterns in data, utilizing these insights to enhance coding standards and system architecture.
- Evaluate designs and modifications to a global scale Critical Application Framework application and its infrastructure to ensure compliance with system requirements.
- Develop test strategies, execution plans, automated test packs, record and analyze results, and generate test reports.
- Communicate effectively, tailoring messages for diverse audiences, from senior business leaders to junior technology staff.
- Collaborate within a globally diverse team environment.
- Proven experience or equivalent expertise in troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining IT services.
- Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools and techniques such as Autosys, Geneos, AppDynamics, Capalytics, SPLUNK, Grafana, etc.
- Strong expertise in infrastructure and application performance and resilience.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing, production deployment, operational stability, and SDLC toolsets.
- Understanding of code deployment, packaging, UAT support, and non-functional testing principles.
- Proficiency in Spring JDBC and SQL, along with a working knowledge of relational and NoSQL database systems.
- Experience with Continuous Integration technologies, including Jenkins, Maven, Cucumber, Mocks, JMeter, JUnit, etc.
- Proficient in working with Linux OS and UNIX scripting.
- A hands-on approach to technology, demonstrating self-learning and a deep understanding of processes, systems, or technologies.
- Experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages and/or automation scripting, such as SQL programming, Java, or API development.
- Knowledge of the Temenos T24 Banking Application is a plus, particularly in areas such as Interest, Tax, Swift Payments, Accounting, Reporting, Sweeps, and Close of Business processing.
- Experience in end-to-end application design and development with an interest in the underlying physical infrastructure.
- Experience in executing and monitoring close of business across multiple platforms.
- Working knowledge of on-premises or public cloud environments.
