Key Responsibilities:
- Management Accounts: Assist in the preparation of detailed management accounts with insightful commentary.

- Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate on the development of financial models, budgets, and forecasts.
- Ad Hoc Financial Modelling: Execute ad hoc financial modelling to inform pricing and cost-saving strategies.
- Bookkeeping Oversight: Supervise daily bookkeeping activities.
- Team Leadership: Guide and mentor finance team members, addressing their inquiries and fostering their development.
- Invoicing Management: Ensure accurate invoicing processes, automating where feasible.
- Sales Ledger Support: Assist in managing the sales ledger efficiently.
- Tax Compliance: Coordinate with external agencies to ensure timely and accurate tax submissions.
- Payroll Management: Oversee payroll processing with precision.
- Statutory Reporting: Aid in the preparation of statutory accounts and manage audit processes.
- Data Analysis: Perform data analysis and generate financial reports to guide business decisions.
- VAT Compliance: Prepare and submit VAT returns in accordance with regulations.
- Inventory Reporting: Compile and review monthly inventory reports, ensuring accuracy in stock costing.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, upholding company values.
Qualifications:
- Part or fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Driven and passionate about achieving results
- Experience in a retail or eCommerce environment
- Proficient in advanced MS Excel and IT tools
- Background in a scaling organization
