Level: UK Qualified Solicitor, 1 - 4 years plus PQE
Location: South Essex (hybrid two to three days a week office based).
Salary: Up to £68,000 per annum, plus bonus and benefits
We are pleased to present a new and engaging opportunity for a Legal Counsel situated in the South Essex area. In this role, you will report directly to the General Counsel for the region and will be integral in delivering commercial in-house legal support across all divisions in the UK and Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluating, drafting, and negotiating a diverse array of commercial contracts and terms.
- Providing legal advice and assistance to local management and business/sales teams across the UK and Ireland.
- Overseeing legal documentation and reporting.
- Managing corporate matters and offering strategic advice to the organization.
Candidate Requirements:
- UK qualified Solicitor with a minimum of one year’s PQE, whether from an In-House or Private Practice background.
- Strong foundation in commercial law with relevant training.
- Proven experience in evaluating, drafting, and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements.
- Professional demeanor with excellent drafting and communication abilities.
- Well-organized with a keen attention to detail.
Package & Additional Information:
- Competitive base salary up to £68,000 per annum, complemented by a bonus and comprehensive benefits package.
- Flexible hybrid working model, requiring two to three days in the office.
