Job Overview
Jarman Ward Limited, a leading independent firm of chartered building surveyors, is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Graduate / Assistant Building Surveyor to join our growing Building Surveying team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough building condition surveys to identify defects and provide expert advice to clients.
- Prepare detailed defect diagnosis reports and design specifications to meet client needs.
- Administer contracts, handle statutory applications, and provide dilapidations and project management services.
- Offer expert advice on CDM regulations and provide support to clients in the education and private sectors.
Requirements
- Hold a degree in Building Surveying or a related field.
- Be driven to progress and establish themselves in the practice.
- Be committed to gaining Chartered Status through the RICS APC process.
- Have strong communication skills and be able to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Be self-motivated, organized, and able to manage priorities effectively.
- Have proficiency in AutoCAD.
