**Job Title:** Technical Supervisor

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Supervisor to join our Technical Management team in Studios. As a Technical Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing on-the-day technical ownership of productions, ensuring client confidence across all crafts.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide first-line technical support and act as the key point-of-contact for engineering incidents affecting gallery and production operations.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with Studios craft teams and other technical areas to ensure seamless delivery of content.
  • Configure systems technically to broadcast standards and ensure visually and by ear that signal paths are correctly aligned.
  • Route internal and external sources, floor vision monitoring, and in-vision monitoring.
  • Match signals, color balance, and video levels by eye using the appropriate interfaces, measuring devices, and monitoring.

**Requirements:**

  • Up-to-date knowledge of broadcast technology, developments, and techniques, including Remote Production and HDR.
  • Experience with broadcast standard equipment, including camera and replay systems, with good engineering skills.
  • Understanding of all aspects of studio/production gallery technical processes.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Comprehension of IP and cloud-based workflows beneficial.
