About the Role:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Supervisor to provide technical ownership of productions, ensuring client confidence across all crafts. As a key member of the Technical Management team, you will work closely with Studios craft teams across a range of Sky's innovative facilities and systems, including remote and cloud productions.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide first-line technical support and act as the key point-of-contact for engineering incidents affecting gallery and production operations.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
- Collaborate with other technical areas, OBs, remote productions, and MCRs to ensure content goes to air correctly.
- Match signals, colour balance, and video levels to ensure broadcast standards are achieved.
- Up-to-date knowledge of broadcast technology, developments, and techniques, including Remote Production and HDR.
- Experience with broadcast standard equipment, including camera and replay systems, with good engineering skills.
- Understanding of all aspects of studio/production gallery technical processes.
- Excellent communication skills.
