Key Responsibilities- Liaise with External Contractors
Coordinate with external contractors to ensure that all maintenance work is carried out to a high standard and in a timely manner.
Advise on Plant Machinery and EquipmentProvide expert advice to staff members on the safe use and maintenance of plant machinery and equipment.
Maintain Tools and EquipmentEnsure that all tools and equipment are properly maintained, stored, and accounted for.
Record KeepingKeep accurate and up-to-date records of all maintenance work carried out.
Travel and FlexibilityTravel to other areas of the site or to suppliers to carry out maintenance work as required.
Urgent and Last-Minute RequestsRespond promptly and flexibly to urgent or last-minute staff/service requirements.
Support to Other Team MembersSupport other members of the facilities team to complete tasks and ensure that all properties on the site are well-maintained.
Risk Assessments and ProceduresContribute to the writing of risk assessments and procedures for maintenance tasks, in accordance with company policies.
On-Call RotaParticipate in the on-call rota to ensure that the facilities team is always available to respond to emergencies.
Weekly ReportsProvide a weekly report of all maintenance work carried out.
General Duties- Cleanliness and Tidiness
Maintain the cleanliness and general tidiness of all external hard areas.
Drain and Gully MaintenanceClean and clear all drains and gullies to ensure effective and healthy operation.
Building Fabric InspectionInspect the outside fabric of the building and report/repair any defects as necessary.
Fencing and Gate MaintenanceInspect all fences, gates, walls, steps, lights, etc. and report/repair any defects as necessary.
Grounds Checks and Emergency WorksUndertake associated grounds checks and respond to and undertake emergency grounds works as required.
