We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Health Visitor to join our Enfield Health Visiting team. As a key member of our team, you will work autonomously to manage a designated caseload of children and families, improving their health and enabling them to reach their full potential.
Main Responsibilities:- Manage an identified enhanced caseload and work collaboratively with other agencies to provide high-quality care to children and families.
- Child protection work will involve gathering and analysing information to make informed assessments, appropriate referrals, and participating and contributing at case conferences and core group meetings.
- Identify and monitor the health needs of a given population and facilitate the implementation of evidence-based health care.
- Develop public health initiatives in line with local and national priorities which promote, protect, and improve the health of the population and reduce health inequalities.
- Registered Adult Nurse, Registered Children's Nurse, Registered Mental Health Nurse.
- Specialist Community Public Health Nursing qualification (Health Visiting), Current NMC Registration for Health Visiting, Registered Nurse Prescriber (NMC V100).
- Evidence of continual professional development at level 6.
- Ability to support children and families to make informed decisions in relation to their health and well-being.
- Evidence of supporting equality and valuing diversity in own practice.
- A range of clinical skills including assessment of development, health and identification of vulnerable children and their families.
- The ability to travel to a variety of sites within the Trust is essential.
- Car driver essential and access to use of a car.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.

£42,939 to £50,697 a year per annum inclusive of HCAS (pro-rata if LTFT).
