The ideal candidate will be part of a high-caliber, international team of legal professionals who work closely with a dynamic front office. This role is unique in that, while it is a legal position, you will be deeply integrated into the deal-making process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide counsel on intricate deal structuring for a diverse portfolio of global clients, taking full ownership of drafting and negotiating legal documents related to leveraged finance, real estate, and M&A transactions;
- Oversee the entire transaction lifecycle, from initial strategic discussions to final execution;
- Assist in managing a comprehensive portfolio of loans, equity, and real estate assets.
We are looking for attorneys from top-tier law firms in the US and UK, or those considering a transition from relevant in-house roles, who are motivated by the opportunity to drive positive change within a business environment rather than merely seeking advancement in title or rank.
The successful candidate will be comfortable collaborating directly with business teams, maintaining an 'open door policy' to address inquiries, and adeptly translating complex legal concepts into understandable terms for non-legal stakeholders.
In addition to a background in leveraged finance and private credit, experience in a credit or distressed debt fund, as well as familiarity with restructuring or real estate matters, will be advantageous.
