Exciting Opportunity as a SEND Teaching Assistant for Year 3 or 4

Location: Stockport
Salary: Competitive
Contract Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to provide valuable support to primary level students with special educational needs in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work one-on-one with students who require special educational support to enhance their academic and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with experienced teachers to implement Individual Education Plans and promote student progress.
  • Create a nurturing and supportive learning environment that fosters social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to teachers and parents.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience supporting primary level students with special educational needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service or willingness to undergo the process.
