Clinical Services Director

Ashford & St. Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced midwife to fill the role of Midwifery Team Lead for our Labour Ward. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and management of the midwifery services within Labour Ward and Labour Theatres.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of midwives and provide clinical guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Conduct performance management and provide feedback to team members to improve performance and achieve goals.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of innovative maternity services.
- Ensure compliance with Trust policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
- NMC practising registered Midwife.
- Significant all-round midwifery experience, including previous ward management experience.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of diversity and human rights, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a clinical setting.
