Executive Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef Manager to join our team at Holroyd Howe, a leading contract caterer providing fresh and innovative food services to independent schools and colleges.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing high-volume, quality-focused environments and will be responsible for developing and implementing menus that cater to diverse dietary requirements and preferences.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the back of house team to create well-balanced and nutritious menus that meet the needs of our clients.
- Manage the catering budget, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining quality standards.
- Establish strong relationships with school Bursars, Head Teachers, and faculty to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate catering staff to achieve exceptional service standards.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and quality control protocols.
- Identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and improvement in menu offerings, service delivery, and operational efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to strict health and safety regulations.
- Proven experience as a General Manager or Deputy General Manager in a high-volume, quality-focused environment.
- Excellent coaching, delegation, and influencing skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Financially astute, with strong analytical skills and the ability to create and maintain budgets.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and adapt to changing circumstances in a fast-paced environment.
- Meticulous organizational abilities and a high attention to detail.
- Empathetic, clear, and highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to challenges and opportunities with a solution-oriented perspective.
- Excellent strategic thinking and critical reasoning skills.
