We are seeking a skilled and experienced Podiatrist to join our team at HMP Bullingdon, a Category B local prison holding male adults from 18+. As a Flexible Community Podiatrist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, best practice treatment to patients with complex and/or chronic presentations.
Main Responsibilities:- Deliver non-judgmental care, building therapeutic relationships and promoting professional boundaries.
- Inspire excellence in your colleagues by being proactive in the management of foot, ankle, and lower extremity conditions.
- Promote best practice, evidence-based care, and continuous quality improvement, embedding a culture of reflection and shared learning.
- HCPC registered with post-registration experience assessing and treating a range of conditions including diabetic patients, wound management, MSK pathologies, and nail surgery.
- A supportive learning environment with a well-developed appraisal system, in-service training, and funding for external clinical courses.
- A collaborative and innovative healthcare team, including GPs, nurses, pharmacists, physiotherapists, and mental health professionals.
- A strong work-life balance with no on-call or weekend work.
