Job Overview
We are pleased to announce a rewarding opportunity to join our Minor Injuries Unit at Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
This position is classified as Band 6, and we welcome applications from skilled practitioners who are prepared to engage in an advanced practice capacity, encompassing minor injuries, minor illnesses, and pediatric care at Band 6 standards. The successful candidate will collaborate with both Band 6 or Band 5 colleagues and a Band 3 Health Care Assistant.
A strong enthusiasm for minor injury management, effective communication abilities, and a dedication to providing exceptional care within an MIU team are vital. Candidates must demonstrate adaptability, a flexible mindset, and a comprehensive understanding of relevant professional matters.
The MIU operates daily from 8am to 8pm, ensuring high-quality care for the local community, particularly during peak attendance periods.

- To independently conduct thorough assessments and provide effective treatment for patients, utilizing evidence-based practices. Responsible for addressing care needs, managing treatments, and evaluating clinical interventions tailored to the requirements of patients in this unit.
