Procurement Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at Meridian Business Support. As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and cost-effective execution of customer orders, directly influencing the company's success with your efforts in cost-saving measures and supplier management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead supplier selection strategies and manage existing suppliers through audits and KPI metrics.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure sufficient cashflow, payment terms, stock holding, packaging, handling, and compliance.
  • Conduct supplier visits and audits to maintain high performance.
  • Perform quarterly supplier reviews, negotiating service and costs to meet company requirements.

This is a permanent position working Monday to Friday 8am-5pm, offering a salary up to £35k per annum based on experience, with the opportunity to work from home 1 day per week following a successful 6 month probationary period. Fantastic benefits are also on offer, including increased annual leave with level of service, 1 month sabbatical after 10 years, annual bonus based on company performance, and annual cricket match.

As a Procurement Manager, you will be working in a team of 4 others, reporting into the Procurement Manager. You will be responsible for ensuring the timely and cost-effective execution of customer orders, directly influencing the company's success with your efforts in cost-saving measures and supplier management.
