Crisis Team Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Crisis Team Clinical Specialist to join our team at Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Crisis Resolution Team, you will play a vital role in providing intensive support to adults experiencing mental health crises within their own communities.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake holistic assessments of individuals in crisis and develop collaborative treatment plans to prevent hospital admission.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care, using evidence-based interventions such as CBT/DBT and de-escalation techniques.
- Provide crisis support and signposting to individuals and their families, ensuring seamless transitions between services.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service improvement initiatives, promoting best practice and excellence in crisis care.
- Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in a senior capacity, with a track record of managing others and delivering high-quality care.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of mental health law, assessment tools, and risk assessment, with a strong understanding of the needs and difficulties of individuals with complex mental health needs.
