Job Description

A leading global food manufacturer is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to oversee the efficient and cost-effective production of their factory. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all scheduled production plans are delivered on time and in full, while maintaining high performance-related KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a Safety-First Culture: Promote a culture of safety and well-being within the department, ensuring that all team members adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements.
  • Drive Performance: Develop and implement strategies to improve quality, productivity, efficiency, and cost, driving business growth and profitability.
  • Quality and Compliance: Ensure that product quality standards are consistently met, and the site is always prepared for audits.
  • Team Development: Foster high levels of motivation and morale within the team through effective leadership, communication, and engagement strategies.
  • Operational Excellence: Develop the skills of the management and operational teams, striving to multi-skill the team for operational efficiencies.
  • Change Management: Initiate and manage change within the business to support the delivery of short, medium, and long-term objectives.
  • Customer Service: Ensure excellent customer service through effective management of site supply planning and provision of raw materials.

  • The ideal candidate will be a seasoned Manufacturing Operations Manager with experience in FMCG food manufacturing, used to delivering through a team in a fast-paced environment.
