About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Fellow to join our team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. As an IVF Clinical Fellow, you will play a key role in providing specialist reproductive medicine care and IVF services at The Wolfson Fertility Centre at Hammersmith Hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the provision of outpatient and inpatient pathways, including investigative and treatment ultrasound sonography, day-case egg collection procedures, and embryo transfer lists.
  • Attend daily results meetings with the multi-disciplinary team and ensure accurate and timely documentation of clinical care.
  • Support the on-call rota, with a 1:6 frequency, and participate in clinical audit and clinical effectiveness initiatives.
  • Collaborate with academic and clinical colleagues to enhance the Trust's translational research portfolio.
  • Provide high-quality teaching to medical undergraduates and members of other healthcare professions in the field of assisted conception.
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and experience:

  • On GMC's register with a Licence to Practice.
  • Clinical expertise in Specialty/sub-specialty.
  • IT Skills and computer literacy.
  • Experience of teaching and training undergraduates/postgraduates and junior medical staff.
  • Understanding of principles of clinical audit.
  • Able to speak and write English to the appropriate standard necessary to fulfil the job requirements.
  • Able to take responsibility, show leadership, make decisions, exert appropriate authority.
