Procurement Officer

ISQ Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Procurement Officer to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of essential materials, focusing on metals and electronics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for core commodities, including metals and electronics.
  • Manage sourcing, supplier selection, and contract negotiation processes.
  • Build and maintain supplier relationships to ensure quality standards, reliability, and cost efficiency.
  • Monitor market trends to make informed purchasing decisions and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to align supplier capabilities with company standards.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in a senior buying or procurement role, ideally within the engineering or manufacturing sector.
  • Expertise in metals and electronic components procurement.
  • Strong skills in assessing supplier performance and market trends.
  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • A valid UK driving licence and access to a car are essential due to the location.
